Wilhelmine Pauline Haas, daughter of Karolina Panknyn, was born on 10 January 1837 at Brenzig, Schlochau, Marienwerder, Westpreußen (German Confederation).1 She married Peter Ludwig Zander, son of Johann Zander and Lotte Schroeder, on 5 June 1860 at Pfarrei Stegers, Gotzkow, Schlochau. She was the sister of his first wife.1
