Emilie Friederike Adelheid Wenski, daughter of Samuel Wenski and Wilhelmine Timm, was born on 20 February 1833 at Schwente (Święta), Flatow, Marienwerder, Westpreußen (German Confederation).1 She was baptized on 3 March 1833. Her godparents were Mayor Kleinschmidt, Mrs Rosine Hoch, and Miss Dorothea Friederike Timm.1 She married Carl Gottlieb Choms, son of Gottlieb Choms, on 4 May 1847.1
On 1 March 1861, Emilie died of dropsy at age 28 years and 9 days, leaving Carl as a widower.1
