     Christian Lehmann, son of Daniel Lehmann and Louise Hilpert, was born on 28 July 1848 at Limbach, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern.1,2,3 He was baptized on 6 August 1848 at Limbach. His godparents were Daniel Oberkircher, unmarried, and Catharina Hock, unmarried, both from Limbach.1 He married Catharina Lehmann, daughter of Ludwig Lehmann and Maria Magdalena Bach, on 22 November 1873 at Limbach.3
