     Johann Peter Fels, son of Wilhelm Fels and Katharina Magdalena Fels, was born on 2 January 1746 at Heimbach, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He married Elisabeth Katharina Antes.1

Second, Peter married Sophia Elisabeth (--?--) on 9 May 1775 at Baumholder, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany). She was the widow of Martin Müller.1
