Anna Katharina Faust, daughter of Melchior Faust and Elisabeth Huber, was born on 26 August 1708 at Grünbach, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).2 She married Johann Ludwig Göttgen, son of Johannes Göttgen and Maria Catharina Margaretha Bastian, on 8 January 1727/28 at Baumholder, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).2
On 15 March 1751/52, Katharina died at Grünbach at age 43 years, 6 months and 18 days, leaving Ludwig as a widower.2
