     Katharina Leibrock, daughter of Johann Balthasar Leibrock and Maria Susanna Lehmann, was born on 13 April 1817 at Eschweilerhof, Neunkirchen, Saargebiet, German Confederation (Germany).2

On 20 September 1834, she was the godmother of Karoline Katharina Grub at her baptism in Limbach.1

Katharina married Nikolaus Grub, son of Johann Nicolas Grub and Sophie Leibrock, on 1 September 1835 at Limbach. Witnesses were Peter Heinz, brother-in-law of the groom, veterinarian, 37 years old, from Homburg, brother of the groom, Daniel Grub, Ackerer, 28 years old, from Limbach, Ludwig Bettinger, day laborer, 22 years old, from Limbach, and Daniel Bettinger, day laborer, 29 years old, from Limbach.7,4,6 On 24 September 1835, they also married in the church at Kirkel-Neuhäusel, Homburg, Rheinkreis, Bayern, German Confederation (Germany).5

Katharina Leibrock was the godmother of Karl Grub, the nephew of her husband, at his baptism on 25 February 1844 at Limbach.8 On 10 December 1846, she was the godmother of Katharina Hilpert, the niece of her husband, at her baptism at Limbach.9 She was the godmother of Ludwig Grub, the nephew of her husband, at his baptism on 15 September 1850 at Limbach.10 On 8 December 1850, she was the godmother of Carl Hock at his baptism at Limbach.11 She was the godmother of Wilhelm Leibrock at his baptism on 16 November 1851 at Limbach.12 On 26 March 1854, she was the godmother of Friedrich Sandmayer at his baptism at Limbach.13

On 1 December 1872, Katharina died at Eschweiler Hof at age 55 years, 7 months and 18 days, leaving Nikolaus as a widower.6
