Henchen Schmit, son of Hen Smidtt and (--?--) (--?--), was born circa 1500 at Zella, Ziegenhain, Hessen-Nassau, Heiliges Römisches Reich.1 Henchen Schmit was also known as Henne Schmidt.1 He married (--?--) (--?--) circa 1530.1 He worked as a farmer at Zella.1
