     William Fredrick Kutsch, son of Jacob Frederick Kutsch and Anna Katharina Stamm, was born on 5 September 1881 at Washington County, Kansas.1

William migrated to Nebraska with his parents in 1897.1 He married Mabel LaPlant on 10 December 1912 at Prairie Center, Buffalo County, Nebraska.1

William died on 20 April 1946 at Sumner, Dawson County, Nebraska, at age 64 years, 7 months and 15 days. His obituary reads as follows:
William Fredrick Kutsch was born September 5th, 1881 in Washington. Kansas. At the age of sixteen years in 1897 he came with his parents to Nebraska and located at Prairie Center, Nebr.
On December 10th, 1912 he enterd the state of Holy Matrimony with Miss Mabel La Plant at Prairie Center. This union the Lord blessed with two children, Louis and Leona.
In 1915 he and his family moved to Sumner, where he resided until his death.
In comparatively good health he was suddenly called out of life April 20th at 1:15 p. m. Funeral services were conducted on April 24th. Pastor G. Schaefer, of Amherst officiating. His body was laid to rest in the Sumner City cemetery.
He leaves to mourn his death, his aged mother, Anna Kutsch, his beloved wife, two children, Louis Kutsch of Indianapolis and his daughter, Leona Price of Sumner; nine brothers, George, Chas. Albert, Edward, Fred, Benjamin, Thomas and Theodore, one sister, Elizabeth Kutsch and many other relatives and friends.
He attained the age of 64 years.1,4
, and was buried on 24 April 1946 at Sumner City Cemetery.1

    SUMNER —Mr. and Mrs. William Kutsch received word from the war department last Tuesday that their son, Pfc. Louis Kutsch, was admitted Jan. 3 to the Halloran general hospital at Staten Island. Louis was wounded seriously in France August 3, 1944, and very little information has been received from him since that time.
