William C. Lawall, 91, formerly of Dolton and Hammond, died Sunday in Crown Point.
He was a retired locomotive engineer for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad and a charter member of Masonic Lowvale Lodge 1129, AR&AM of Dolton.
Survivors include a son, William Melbourne of Riverdale; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Yzbick of Riverdale, Mrs. Ruth Jacobsma of Kewanee, Ill., and Mrs. Alice Amundson of West Covina, Calif; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hanna and Elsie Lawall, both of Chicago.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Burns Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Ave., Hammond. Burial will lbe in Cedar Park Cemetery, Calumet Park, Ill.
Calling hours are from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday.
