     Johann Gottfried Quast was the son of Anton Quast and Johanna Elisabeth Herminghausen.1 He married Sibilla Schippers.1 He was a member of the church council at Schwanenberg, (Heinsberg), (Nordrhein-Westfalen), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1

Gottfried died on 25 March 1778 at Schwanenberg.1
