     Anton Quast, son of Kaspar Quast and Agnes Schergens, was born at Wickrathberg, (Mönchengladbach), (Nordrhein-Westfalen), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).2 He was baptized on 19 July 1682 at Wickrathberg.2 He registered at the Universität Duisburg, Duisburg, in 1699, where he studied theology.2 He married Agnes Camphausen, daughter of Klas Camphausen and Gertrud Schmesen, on 16 January 1707 at Wickrathberg.2 He was a pastor at Venlo, Nederland, until 1708.2 He was also a school director at Wickrathberg between 1708 and 1718.2,1

Agnes died in 1712 leaving Anton as a widower at the age of 30 years.2

Marriage banns for Anton Quast and Johanna Elisabeth Herminghausen, daughter of Johann Peter Herminghausen and Johanna Lüps, were published on 4 December 1712 at Mönchengladbach, (Nordrhein-Westfalen), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1,2 He worked as a pastor at Schwanenberg, (Heinsberg), (Nordrhein-Westfalen), Holy Roman Empire (Germany), between 1718 and 1748.2

Anton died in 1751 at Schwanenberg, (Heinsberg), (Nordrhein-Westfalen), Holy Roman Empire (Germany), at age 68 years.2
