     Michael Kegel, son of Peter Kegel and Anna (--?--), was born circa 1688 at Kegelsmühl (Kloda), Deutsch Krone, Marienwerder (Wielkopolskie), Westpreußen (Germany).3 Michael was free mill estate or landed estate owner at Sagemühl, Deutsch Krone.3 Michael became a citizen at Deutsch Krone on 7 November 1711.3 He was the owner of the Matters or Kronsch Castle Mill in 1713.3 He married Anna Dorothea Lentz, daughter of Christian Lentz and Anna Burmeister, circa 1715.3

Michael purchased the Sagemühl Manor at Deutsch Krone on 14 November 1716.3 In 1721, he purchased the Klapstein or Town Mill for 2500 Gulden from the town of Deutsch-Krone.3

Michael was a witness in 1738 at Deutsch Krone.3

Michael died after 1739 at Sagemühl, Deutsch Krone, Westpreußen (Germany).3
