According to the catholic churchbook at Roggow, (now Dargomysl, Szczecinskie, Poland), Karl Friedrich Kannenberg was born on 29 August 1804 at Hoffelde, Regenwalde, Pommern, Westpreußen.1 He married Albertine Wilhelmina Welke, daughter of Johann Welke and Anna Rosina Manske, on 4 April 1839 at Krummfließerhütte (Pokrzywno), Deutsch Krone, Pommern, Preußen (Deutsches Reich). According to the protestant churchbook at Schönlanke.1
After the death of both Michael Manske and his wife, Anna Elisabet, their son, Michael Samuel, acquired the estate No. 1 Krummfließer Hütte, Deutsch-Krone. He sold it on 2 July 1839 to Heinrich Kannenberg, who later sold it to his brother Friedrich (Fritz) Kannenberg. Thereby the two halves of the estate were reunited.1
On 6 June 1885, Karl Friedrich Kannenberg died at Krummfließerhütte (Pokrzywno) at age 80 years, 9 months and 8 days, leaving Albertine as a widow.1
