     Georg Welke was born circa 1570 in Poland.1

Georg received fields and meadows near Draheim and Brotzen for faithful service as secretary from the Starostei Draheim from Starosten Czarnikowski in 16231, and again on 18 February 1624. Previously he had been the town chronicler of Tempelburg in Starostei Draheim.1
