     Josef Valla, son of Wenceslaus Walla and Johanna Benda, was born circa 1769 at Velká Bíteš (Gross Bittesch), Ždár nad Sázavou, Kraj Vysočina, Czechia.2 He married Elisabeth Hestrof, daughter of Mathias Hestrof, on 24 February 1811 at Gottlob, Timiş, Hungary (Romania). She was the widow of Christopher Decker. Witnesses were Mathias Hestruff und Johann Till.6,4,7

Josef died on 30 October 1842 at Ečka (Deutsch-Etschka), Zrenjanin, Vojvodina, Hungary (Serbia).2,4
