Jozsef, his wife, Anna, and their two daughters, Maria and Anna, arrived in New York City on 28 October 1905 on the ship Pannonia from Fiume, Croatia. They had left Fiume on 13 October 1905.3,4,2

Jozsef filed his declaration of intent on 10 March 1910 at Bloomington.6 He was naturalized on 7 November 1914 at Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois.3,5,6
