John G. Kober, 72, of 3037 W. Antoinette died at 7:58 p.m.
Wednesday, July 21, 1993, at Proctor Hospital.
Born Sept. 21, 1920, in Bloomington to Joseph and Mary Theis Kober, he married Ger trude Quinn on May 2, 1947, in Bloomington. She survives.
Also surviving are one step daughter, Dorothy Henninger of Bergin, Ky., one stepson, Don Kober of Coralville, Iowa; 32 grand and great- grandchildren; and one brother, George of Normal. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
He worked for WABCO for more than 30 years, retiring Nov. 1, 1982. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Davison-Fulton Western Chapel. Visitation will be two hours before the services at the chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Peoria.
