     Anna Hermele, daughter of Joannes Hermele and Juliana Pfeiffer, was born on 15 October 1865 at Pîncota, Arad, Romania.1,2,5,6 She was baptized on 16 October 1865 at Pîncota. Her godparents were Joannes Schmidt and Anna Gafszer, both peasants.1 She married Jozsef Totterer on 6 February 1887 at Pîncota. The marriage was performed by Aloysius Magyari. Witnesses were Joannes Schmidt and Carolus Csantner, both peasants.2,4,7,5,6 Anna, Jozsef, and their two daughters, Maria and Anna, arrived in New York City on 28 October 1905 on the ship Pannonia from Fiume, Croatia. They had left Fiume on 13 October 1905.8,7,5
