     Josef Fendler, son of Michael Fendler and Marianna Andres, was born on 10 October 1893 at Hausnr. 183, Knićanin (Rudolfsgnad), Zrenjanin, Vojvodina.1 He married Magdalena Klein, daughter of Heinrich Klein and Barbara Hermes, on 3 June 1919 at Knićanin (Rudolfsgnad), Zrenjanin, Vojvodina, Yugoslavia (Serbia).1

Josef died on 5 November 1965 at Leutesheim, Ortenaukreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, at age 72 years and 26 days.1
