     Johann Christian Bauer was the son of Jacob Bauer.1

Christian was the godfather of his nephew, Johann Christian Wolf at his baptism on 29 September 17542, and of his niece, Anna Eva Wolf on 29 December 1756 at Rieschweiler, (Pirmasens), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1
