Johann Nickel Leyd1

Johann Nickel Leyd was born on 29 September 1676 at Frohnhausen, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).2 He married Elisabeth Pees, daughter of Nickel Pees and Anna Elisabeth (--?--), on 2 November 1700 at Baumholder, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany). They married in both the protestant and catholic church, because Nickel was catholic and Elisabeth was protestant.2 He worked as a censor at Baumholder.2
A daughter, Anna Elisabeth, was born to Johann and Elisabeth on 25 November 1722.3
On 7 September 1759, Nickel died at Mambächel, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany), at age 82 years, 11 months and 9 days, leaving Elisabeth as a widow.2
