     Jacob Korst, son of Jacob Korst and Elisabetha Schwarz, was born on 5 October 1865 at Kirkel, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern.1,3 He was baptized on 15 October 1865 at Neuhäusel. His godparents were Ludwig Spieler, farmer from Kirkel, and Anna Leibrock, from Eschweilerhof, both unmarried.1

Jacob died on 19 October 1865 at Kirkel at age 14 days.2,1 He was buried on 20 October 1865 at Neuhäusel.2
