     Georg Jakob Korst, son of Johann Jakob Korst and Anna Barbara Blinn, was born on 7 February 1799 at Limbach, (Saarland), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1,2,3 He was baptized on 10 February 1799 at Limbach. His godparents were his aunt's husband Johann Georg Wagner, Georg Jacob Russi, Regina Hilpert, and Anna Elisabeth (--?--.)1 He worked as a weaver at Limbach.4

Georg Jakob Korst was the godfather of his niece, Carolina Korst at her baptism on 5 February 1843 at Limbach.5

Georg died on 11 July 1861 at Limbach at age 62 years, 5 months and 4 days.3,4 He was buried on 13 July 1861 at Limbach.3
