     Johann Philipp Klein, son of Johann Philipp Christophel Klein and Maria Elisabetha Christmann, was born on 11 September 1754 at Wörsbach, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 15 September 1754 at Heimkirchen, (Rheinland-Pfalz). His godparents were Philipp Jung shepherd in Wörsbach, Jacob May from Wörsbach, and Magdalena, wife of Christoph Zapp, church juryman.1 He died of consumption on 26 June 1779 at Wörsbach at age 24 years, 9 months and 15 days2, and was buried on 27 June 1779.2
