     Maria Elisabeth Hilpert was born according to the church book, at 5 a.m. On 19 July 1814 at Bliesbergerhof, (Saar-Pfalz-Kreis), (Saarland), France, Witnesses to the civil registration of her birth were Jacob Bauss, 55-year-old laborer, and Georg Daniel Leibrock, 40-year-old laborer, both residing in Altstadt. Her civil registration record states that she was born on the 19th of July 1814.1,2,7 She was baptized on 24 July 1814 at Limbach, (Saarland), France. Her godparents were Valentin Eschmann, Peter Hilpert, Maria Elisabeth, wife of Georg Lutter from Altstadt, and Maria, daughter of Christian Michel from Homburg.2 She married Ludwig Leibrock, son of Johann Ludwig Leibrock and Maria Salomea Leibrock, at Limbach. Witnesses were Ludwig Leibrock, farmer, 66 years old, Georg Barthel Brabänder, weaver, 52 years old, Philipp Korst, farmer, 38 years old, and Nikolaus Gros, baker, 69 years old, all from Limbach.5,3,8,9,6

Ludwig died on 24 April 1838, at Limbach at age 31, who was pregnant at the time, as a widow at the age of 23 years.10,8,9

Maria died on 29 November 1839 at Bliesbergerhof at age 25 years, 4 months and 10 days.6,11
