     Philipp Göttel, son of Philipp Göttel and Elisabetha Hilpert, was born on 13 July 1856 at Kleinottweiler, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern.1,2 He was baptized on 10 August 1856 at Limbach. His godparents were his uncle Heinrich Hilpert, farmer, unmarried, and his half-sister Carolina Göttel, unmarried both from Kleinottweiler.1 He was buried on 10 September 1856 at Kleinottweiler.2

Philipp died on 8 September 1860 at Kleinottweiler at age 4 years, 1 month and 26 days.2,1
