     Maria Catharina Gödel, daughter of Johann Niclaus Gödel and Maria Barbara Gödel, was born on 3 January 1788 at Morbach, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 5 January 1788 at Morbach. Her godparents were Jacob Göddel lunmarried, Maria Katharina, wife of Johannes Neuß, and Maria Margaretha, wife of Michael Lanzer teacher.1
