     Vara L. (--?--) was born on 24 December 1917 at Pennsylvania.1,3,4 She married Wayne Simeon Williams, son of Andrew Simeon Williams and Alice Elizabeth McKown.1

Vara L. Williams began military service on 14 January 1943 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She served in the Women's Army Corps.2 She enlisted in the Army on 1 September 1943.4 She ended military service on 25 November 1944.2

Vara died on 9 May 1987 at Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, at age 69 years, 4 months and 15 days3,1,4, and was buried at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairborn, Greene Cuonty, Ohio.1
