Maria Barbara Gentes, daughter of Hans Nickel Gentes and Anna Catharina Hundsecker, was born on 28 November 1720 at Breitfurt, (Saar-Pfalz-Kreis), (Saarland), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).5 She was baptized on 1 December 1720 at Walsheim, (Saarland). Her godparents were Jacob Berner from Mittelbach, Daniel Gentes from Breitfurt, Barbara, wife of Jacob Hundsecker from Wolfersheim, und Anna Maria, daughter of Georg Trommer from Breitfurt.5 She was confirmed on 25 April 1734 at Walsheim.3
Barbara was the godmother of her cousin, Anna Barbara Gentes at her baptism on 26 December 1735.5
Maria married Hans Georg Fischer, son of Daniel Fischer and Susanna Margaretha (--?--), on 28 November 1738 at Breitfurt.2,4
On 12 May 1771, Barbara died at Breitfurt at age 50 years, 5 months and 14 days, leaving Georg as a widower4, and was buried on 14 May 1771.4
