     Johann Valentin Geip, son of Valentin Geip and Maria Magdalena Gödel, was born on 27 October 1751 at Relsberg, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 31 October 1751 at Relsberg. His godparents were Valentin Göddel, Peter Fechter, unmarried, Maria Margaretha, wife of Adam Krämer from Offenbach, and Maria Catharina, wife of Justus Stephan from Nußbach.1 He died of measles on 20 February 1754 at Relsberg at age 2 years, 3 months and 24 days2,1, and was buried on 22 February 1754 at Relsberg.2
