Maria Elisabeth Forster, daughter of Johann Wilhelm Forster and Anna Margaretha Weyerbacher, was born on 25 January 1745/46 at Baumholder, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 30 January 1745/46 at Baumholder. Her godparents were Johann Jacob Forster, Maria Magdalena, daughter of the deceased Marx Metzger, and Maria Elisabeth, the wife of the deceased Anthony Wiger(?)1 She married Friedrich Meis, son of Johann Nickel Mauss and Anna Elisabeth Welsch, on 19 November 1767 at Baumholder.2
