     Johann Jacob Guth, son of Heinrich Guth and Anna Margretha (--?--), was born at Nünschweiler, (Pirmasens), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 18 April 1721 at Rieschweiler, (Rheinland-Pfalz). His godparents were Johann Jacob Häberlig, Senior, from Hüben, Johann Jacob Schärrer from Eschweiiler, Anna Margreth, legitimate daughter of Henrich
Schmidt from Nünschweiler, and Susanna, wife of Jacob Schmidt, Junior from Nünschweiler.1
