     Johann Nicholas Zapp, son of Christoph Zapp and Maria Catharina (--?--), was born on 13 June 1779 at Wörsbach, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 16 June 1779 at Heimkirchen, (Rheinland-Pfalz). His godparents were Johann Nicolaus Schneck, citizen in Heimkirchen, and Maria Elisabetha, wife of Michael Buhl from Wörsbach.1

Nicholas died on 13 March 1784 at Wörsbach at age 4 years and 9 months2, and was buried on 14 March 1784.2
