     Johann Philipp Walther, son of Johann Adam Walther and Maria Catharina Löscher, was born on 7 May 1766 at Heiligenmoschel, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 11 May 1766 at Heiligenmoschel. His godparents were ohann Nickel Haneberger, Johann Philip Lepla, lunmarried, and Maria Margaretha, wife of Michel Günther.1 He died of measles on 10 February 1767 at Heiligenmoschel at age 9 months and 3 days2, and was buried on 11 February 1767 at Heiligenmoschel.2
