Maria Catharina Walther, daughter of Johannes Walther and Maria Magdalena Klein, was born on 28 August 1782 at Niederkirchen, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).¹ She was baptized on 1 September 1782 at Niederkirchen. Her godparents were Johann Henrich Braun, Nickel Klein from Worsbach, and his wife Christina, and Maria Catharina, wife of Adam Walther.¹
