     Anna Catharina Braun, daughter of Johannes Braun and Anna Christina Pfleger, was born on 16 October 1738 at Niederkirchen, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 19 October 1738 at Niederkirchen. Her godparents were Johann Wilhelm Jung, from the Oppensteiner Mill, Johann Nicol Braun, son of Johann Nicol Braun, mayor in Niederkirchen, Anna Catharina, wife of Jeremias Gödel from Morbach, and Anna Catharina, wife of Caspar Pfleger, linenweaver in Niederkirchen.1
