     Apollonia Thiel, daughter of Jacob Thiel and Engel Hoffmann, was born on 7 April 1646 at Olsbrücken, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 10 April 1646 at Wolfstein. Her godparents were Apollonia, wife of Jacob Ecker, and Simon Ecker, citizen and member of the court in Wörsbach.1
