     Catharina Elisabetha Braun, daughter of Johann Wilhelm Braun and Anna Sara Beck, was born on 21 June 1739 at Wolfstein, (Kusel), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 24 June 1739 at Wolfstein. Her godparents were Johannes Albertus Braun, and Catharina Elisabetha, wife of Johannes Weißmann, the miller at the Schafmühl near Katzweiler.1 She was confirmed in 1753 at Wolfstein.2
