     Johann Heinrich Zapp, son of Johann Christoph Zapp and Maria Appolonia Klein, was born on 22 July 1707 at Wörsbach, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 24 July 1707 at Heimkirchen, (Rheinland-Pfalz). His godparents were Johann Henrich Zapp, mayor in Holborn, Johann Henrich Wendel in Heimkirchen, Elisa Margretha, wife of Jacob Christmann from Wörsbach, and Eva, wife of Nicole Braun of the Rauschen Mill.1
