     Michael Zapp, son of Johann Adam Zapp and Maria Magdalena Zapp, was born on 14 October 1806 at Holbornerhof, (Kaiserslautern), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 19 October 1806 at Heimkirchen, (Rheinland-Pfalz). His godparents were Jakob Schäfer from Holborn, and Maria Elisabetha, wife of Valentin Maue from Heimkirchen.1
