     Johannes Zapp, son of Johann Adam Zapp and Maria Magdalena Zapp, was born on 1 September 1815 at Holbornerhof, Kaiserslautern, Rheinkreis, German Confederation (Germany).1 He was baptized on 3 September 1815 at Heimkirchen, Rheinkreis. His godparents were Johannes Pfleger, his wife Magdalena, Johann Philipp Pfleger, and his wife Anna Maria.1
