     Philipp Wilbrand Möllenthiel, son of Johann Balthasar Möllenthiel and Susanna Elisabeth Omphalius, was born on 26 June 1722 at Rott, (Neuwied), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was a vicar at Kusel, (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany), in 1745/46.1

Philipp married Dorothea Baumann.1 He was ordained as chairman at Kusel between 1748 and 1750.1 Between 1750 and 1783, Philipp was a pastor at Meisenheim, (Bad Kreuznach), (Rheinland Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He became inspector at Meisenheim on 12 February 1760.1

Philipp died on 10 May 1783 at Meisenheim at age 60 years, 10 months and 14 days.1
