Johannes Beuther, son of Michel Beuther and (--?--) Drach, was born circa 1523 at Karlstadt, Unterfranken, Bayern, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1,2 During this time, he lived with his uncle, Johannes Drach, who became his teacher and leader. With him, his brothers Michel and Johannes studied the bible, learned the Orientalists, Hebrew and the Greek authors.3,2 He enrolled in the Universität Marburg in 1537.1,2 He attended the Universität Wittenberg in 1539.2
In 1555, as an attorney, Johannes was councilman for the House of Isenburg.2 Next, Johannes was chancellor for Fulda.2 Finally, Johannes was a beadle at the Universität Heidelberg, and a notary public in the Heidelberg Electorate.2
