Nikolaus Leibrock, son of Johann Karl Jacob Leibrock and Maria Katharina Niergarth, was born on 2 April 1833 at Limbach, Homburg, Rheinkreis, Bayern.1,3,5
Nikolaus Leibrock was the godfather of Eva Oberkircher at her baptism on 12 May 1850 at Limbach.7 On 5 October 1851, he was the godfather of Elisabetha Korst at her baptism at Limbach.8 He was the godfather of Friedrich Sandmayer at his baptism on 26 March 1854 at Limbach.9 On 17 February 1856, he was the godfather of his nephew, Karl Leibrock at his baptism at Limbach.10 He was the godfather of Charlotte Hamm at her baptism on 1 February 1857 at Limbach.11 On 8 March 1857, he was the godfather of Jakob Grub at his baptism at Limbach.12 Marriage banns for Nikolaus Leibrock and Maria Salomea Hock were published on 27 November 1859 and on 4 December 1859 at Limbach, both times at noon.3

Witnesses at the civil registration were Karl Leibrock, 28 years old, brother of the groom, Georg Jacob Leibrock, 46 years old, cousin of the groom, Christian Hock, 55 years old farmer, the uncle of the bride, and Friedrich Hock, 43 years old farmer from Bliesbergerhof, uncle of the bride. Witnesses at the church wedding were Conrad Hierthes, mayor, Balthasar Hock, farmer, Jacob Oberkircher, farmer, Carl Leibrock, farmer, all from Limbach.5,3,4,13 He worked as a shoemaker at Limbach.14,3,5
