     Johann Peter Korst, son of Johann Jacob Korst and Maria Katharina Blum, was born on 26 August 1815 at Waldmohr, (Kusel), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 27 August 1815 at Waldmohr. His godparents were Peter Blum and Katharina Müller.1
