     Johann Nickel Emich, son of Johann Georg Emich and Anna Catharina (--?--), was born circa April 1744 at Waldmohr, (Kusel), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 19 April 1744 at Waldmohr.1 He was confirmed on 21 March 1758 at Waldmohr.2 He married Margaretha Dorothea Blum, daughter of Valentin Blum, on 18 January 1774 at Waldmohr, (Kusel), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).3 He worked as a wagon maker at Waldmohr.4

Nickel lived at Waldmohr in 1776.5

Nickel died of tuberculosis on 14 June 1797 at Waldmohr at age 53 years, 1 month and 26 days.4 He was buried on 15 June 1797 at Waldmohr.4
