     Maria Catharina Vogelgesang, daughter of Christophel Vogelgesang and Anna Catharina Baumann, was born on 9 June 1732 at Herbitzheim, (Saar-Pfalz-Kreis), (Saarland), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 12 June 1732 at Walsheim.1

Catharina was the godmother of Georg Elias Welcker at her baptism on 28 May 1750 at Walsheim.2
