Maria Dorothea Thomas, daughter of Johannes Thomas and Anna Elisabeth Hammen, was born on 11 April 1751 at Baumholder, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).³ She married Johann Michel Forster, son of Johann Jacob Forster and Martha Katharina Weyerbacher, on 5 December 1782 at Baumholder.³
