     Jakob Bach, son of Johann Jacob Bach and Elisabetha Bolley, was born on 19 August 1851 at Limbach, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern.1 He was baptized on 31 August 1851 at Limbach. His godparents were Georg Jacob Schmidt, unmarried, from Limbach, Ludwig Lehmann, farmer, from Kohlhof, Eva Imbsweiler, unmarried, from Niederbexbach, and Maria Bolley, wife of ____ Liebenguth from Wallesweiler.1
