     Jakob Büch, son of Jakob Büch and Elisabetha Schäfer, was born circa 1847.3 He married Louisa Korst, daughter of Johann Ludwig Korst and Maria Louise Ecker, on 21 February 1880 at Kirkel-Neuhäusel, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern, German Confederation (Germany). Witnesses were Ludwig Müller, miner from Elwersberg, and Jakob Korst, farmer from Kirkel.1 He worked as a farmer and innkeeper at Barschweiler.1
